2011 Flying Pig Marathon

Another rainy year for the Flying Pig Marathon. I am very excited to share my great experience with you. This will be my 5th year running the half marathon. My time was 2:12:55. I didn’t do good as last year, but I am honored to join this special cause. Maybe someday I will have the courage to do the full marathon, but for right now, I am grateful and happy to run the pig every year with no injuries!

I want to thank my husband Chris for supporting and always chearing me on every year! I love you.

First Spring Wedding… Rain, Rain, Go Away, please come back another day. This couple had such a positive attitude and was great sports to tough out the rain. They didn’t let it get in the way of their special day.

The countryside in Walton, Kentucky, Alex’s old rustic farm, the cemetary nearby- I was like a little kid in an amusement park! Barrel Lake Farm has so much history and character! I had the honor to photograph Allison and Alex’s engagement there!

Day Trip to the Rabbit Hash

Hi There! For the longest time I’ve always wanted to go to the Rabbit Hash. Finally with a month of planning, my friend Nancie and I took a trip to the awesome Rabbit Hash in Kentucky. It’s been awhile since I drove the country back roads, so I was anxious and excited! On the way there, we stopped at some cool places to take some pictures. I couldn’t ask for a better day! It was overcast, though it rained alittle, we didn’t let that get in our way! Once we got to Rabbit Hash, everyone was friendly! Duane, was nice enough to open up the barn so we can take some pictures. We were also able to fit in a tiny photoshoot! Rabbit Hash is such a beautiful and unique place! I definately want to go back!
